Scores of attorneys are positioned along the 161st Street corridor between the Concourse and Sheridan Avenue.
There are two indoor garages and one lot within the immediate area of the courts.
The garage above Sheridan Market on the corner of 161 & Sheridan has 95 spaces and charges $15 from 6 AM – 6 PM.
A second garage has its entrance on E. 158th Street near River Avenue. Its fees are $18 for 6AM – 6 PM, and there are 150 spots available.
Concourse Plaza Mall operates a park & pay lot in the heart of the district. Fees are $21 for up to four hours. There are 1,200 spaces.
There is municipal, metered parking along the Grand Concourse.
The civic district food options are geared to on-the-go lawyers, jurors and civil servants who want a quick snack or meal. This includes brick-oven, pizza from Sheridan Market, red velvet cake from Fauzias’ food cart and a pastrami on rye at The Court Deli
The Concourse Plaza Mall has an eclectic collection of businesses ranging from Popeye’s to Petland.
Santander Bank and the Bank of America have full-service branches in the mall.
The mall is anchored by a Multiplex Cinema showing feature films at affordable prices.
East of the mall shoppers can visit Walgreens, Checkers, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks and Chipotle.
